“There were two sacred elements that inspired this exciting project : Before Hollywood, I had a career in the fashion industry which has primed a foundation and passion that led me full circle back to creating dynamic Athleisure apparel and sportswear... But it was my love of Africa and wanting to change the narrative often depicted globally of the place that did not reflect the Africa that I knew and loved. It rarely conveyed the sophistication, mysticism and excellence.

It was while sitting on location on a movie set in Africa that these two inspirations collided and led to the creation of the Black and Gold collection. A collection that epitomised the golden excellence within African culture and at the same time empowered its makers... whilst inspiring those who adorn their creation.”
